Newest passport & travel regulations Although the current regulations state that you don't need a passport to cruise outside the U.S. for example, to the Caribbean, you WILL need a passport to get back into the country if you should, God forbid, take ill and need to be flown home! Ay,ay,ay! Latest travel regs are here, but the take-home message is: get a passport and take it everywhere - you may soon need it to go across the Brooklyn Bridge. http://travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2223.html

Flying with Disability has a wealth of knowledge about air travel and more....an abundance of useful information for all types of travel. Emerging Horizons - another accessiblity-driven site with news and views on wheelchair travel, including rentals. Global Access News - AKA Disabled Travel Network, is a simple site originally intended as a forum for disabled travelers to communicate with travel vendors....has good info on wheelchair travel.
