Don't choke any chickens in Turkey! The UN World Tourism Organization is warning travel professionals not to underestimate the threat of bird flu after the latest outbreak in Turkey. Officials note that no human-to-human transmission has yet taken place, and no formal restrictions on travel are contemplated at present. As a tourist, however, simple prudence will tell you to avoid visiting farms that harbor birds, and don't get too chummy with those pigeons in the park. Cute, but dangerous?
